La Manga is a unique resort area built along a narrow sandbar stretching between two bodies of water.
There aren’t many sightseeing spots, but that’s exactly what makes the place special—you can simply spend your days gazing at the sea and the sky in total relaxation.
This is a record of the slow, peaceful days I spent in La Manga.
An Endless Stretch of Crystal‑Clear Blue—The Luxury of Doing Nothing

The first thing that welcomed me was the expansive beach right in front of me.
Clear blue water, gentle waves, and a wide, open sky.
Far from the noise of busy tourist destinations, La Manga is the perfect place to lie on the sand, float in the water, and enjoy the luxury of “a trip where you intentionally do nothing.”
Out of all the beaches I’ve ever visited, this one is number one.
Unforgettable Sunsets—La Manga’s Evening Magic

As evening approaches, the sea slowly turns orange.
Watching the sun sink through the clouds is breathtaking—just like the photos I took.
Sitting at a beachside café with a drink in hand, watching the sun disappear into the horizon, was all it took to feel completely content.

Whitewashed Streets and a Refreshing Seabreeze

La Manga’s townscape is filled with white buildings—simple, bright, and very Mediterranean.
Just sitting at a seaside restaurant, feeling the breeze while watching people stroll by, instantly puts you into vacation mode.
There’s also a lighthouse nearby, and the contrast between the bright white structure and the blue sky was beautiful.

Seafood with a View—Enjoying Spanish Cuisine by the Water
Food is always one of the highlights of any trip.
In La Manga, the seafood was outstanding—so fresh that you can almost taste it just by looking at the photos.
Mixed fried seafood & grilled calamari
The smoky aroma of grilled seafood was incredible. A squeeze of lemon made the flavors pop even more.

Patatas Bravas

A classic Spanish dish—the spicy sauce is addictive.
Paella

The seafood paella, infused with rich ocean flavor, was the perfect meal by the sea.
I paired it with Estrella de Levante, the local beer from Murcia. Absolutely perfect.

Dessert

A warm fried pastry with ice cream—simple, sweet, and the ideal way to end the meal.
And Surprisingly… Sushi, Served Boat‑Style

La Manga even has Asian restaurants, and I happened to find sushi that was much better than I ever expected.
Served in a “sushi boat,” it looked impressive, and for sushi in Spain, the quality was surprisingly high.
The moonlight reflecting on the sea was indescribably beautiful
